Hello and welcome to my portfolio! My name is Farida, and I am a 2D Generalist based in Egypt with professional experience in 2D motion design and cutout animation. In my spare time, I like to draw fanart, create characters, animate frame-by-frame, and even compose music for personal or fan projects! There is a bit of everything here, so I hope you enjoy!
If you are wondering about my stance on GenAI; while I appreciate for some people it has narrowed down the brainstorming process and it is currently in use in many creative fields, at no point in any of my personal or freelancing work do I use GenAI; whether in illustration, animation, writing or musical composition. Or even in the scripting of this website, which I taught myself to build from scratch! :D
